The Mozilla Foundation launched on 20 this month, the latest beta of Firefox 3. This version, even development, is surprisingly stable. With a remarkable visual support via GTK, not as much as Epiphany, but very close.
If you thought the bar was smart in the previous version, this frightens. You may recall the title of the page, but no URL, no problem Firefox 3 has it all covered ![]()
Other extras in this release includes an improved bookmark manager, a ton of bugfixes and (other usual arrangements) and several enhancements in the user interface.
In general the team is trying to tame Mozilla Firefox, leaving behind one beast heavy and slow and turn it into something much faster, especially in the field of Linux. Much of the new improvements and support for Linux is thanks to all users who have tested versions compiled Night nightly builds and have contributed with ideas and complaints.
