Popularity Contest Plugin for WordPress

The project's popularity plugin for WP was started by Alex King, and wrote a great plugin. But since the 2.3 version of wordpress and not continuing with development. Therefore I have decided to continue the development here and have a repository with a version of popularity contest to work with the latest versions of wordpress.
Of course, the plugin will remain free and so if someone wants to help write code for it, please feel welcome.
The development and support for the plugin takes time and effort, so I just ask you to show a link on your site, thanks.
Description
This plugin will allow you to know which of your articles published are the most popular. Views, comments, etc. are registered and earn points configured to determine the popularity of the post.
Latest version of Wordpress Supported: 2.6.5
Stable version of the plugin: 1.4.2
For the latest version download the plugin here.
Installation
- Download the plugin file and extract it.
- Load the file popularity contest.php-wp-content/plugins directory (not in a sub-folder r).
- In the Plugins page in the administration area of your Wordpress blog click Activate under Popularity Contest. This will create the table in the database used by Popularity Contest
- Congratulations, you just installed Popularity Contest and is now recording the data.
- Optional: Go to Options> Popularity if you modify the settings for each view and feedback type.

Thank you so much for the development. My blog has the same problem when upgrade from WP 2.3 to 2.5, and again from 2.5 to 2.6. Your plugin works well

Glad you picking up the ball on the plugin - however I'm having trouble with wordpress 2.7 - any chance of an update?

Hi Big Bear, now from what version you are updating? did you used the plugin on different versions, or you just installed it on WP 2.7?

I just installed a fresh copy of wp 2.7, then just copy the plugin to the plugins directory and its workin fine.
What did you try to do when that error appear?
