Para realizar la actualización desde Ubuntu 8.04, pulse Alt + F2 y escribia update-manager-d en el cuadro de comando. El Update Manager debe abrir y mostrarle:

Nueva liberación de distribución 9.04 está disponible.

Haga clic en Actualizar y siga las instrucciones que aparecen en pantalla.
